SIX men, including three known politicians, are seeking the mayorship of the city while three others want the second highest city hall position and lead the city council.

Eight Cagayanons filed their certificates of candidacy for the city’s congressional posts––two in the 1st District and six others in the 2nd District.

A total of 48 Cagayanons are seeking elective seats in the city council, excluding the vice mayor––28 in the 1st District and 17 others in the 2nd District.

Here’s the Commission on Elections (Comelec) list of candidates who beat the 5 pm deadline yesterday:
