A Czech Republic touring cyclist asked from officials of Talisayan for retrieval of his personal effects inside a pouch he left along the highway on Tuesday.

Town Mayor Rommel Maslog identified the foreigner as Zbynek Vintr, a Czech Republic national.

Maslog said upon knowing he immediately ordered his local police in Talisayan to investigate and help find the lost items of the foreigner.

Whey they proceeded biking going to Balingoan, the foreigner left his pouch bag with important  things inside, Maslog added.

Vintr only realized he left the pouch when he was waiting at the seaport for his departure to Camiguin Island.

One of his escorts, P01 Roy Peligrino said the foreigner has only knew that his thing was gone while waiting at Port Terminal for his departure for  Camiguin Island.

Peligrino added the pouch contained Vintr’s passport, cash amounting to 3,000 Euros, ATM card, cellphone, and assorted identification cards.

Peligrino said Vintr arrived from Manila two week ago for a biking tour.

He said Vintr will be staying in Gingoog City for awhile until his belongings are returned.

For his part, Maslog urged his constituents who may have recovered the pouch to surrender it to the authorities.
