CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao — Combined troops of 37th Infantry Battalion, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG-Barmm) and Maguindanao Provincial Police Office seized high powered firearms and apprehended lawless elements during the conduct of Law Enforcement Support Operation on Saturday in Barangay Langkong, Matanog, Maguindanao.
The combined troops served the search warrant against the armed lawless group for violation of comprehensive law on firearms and ammunitions.
Arrested were Guiaman Lumbos, Ali Lumbos, Samsudin Lumbos, and Digna Lumbos Dirangaren, all suspected members of the Lumbos robbery group who are also allegedly into contract killing activities.
Seized from them were one improvised .30-caliber sniper rifle, two M16 assault rifles, one M14 rifle, one Carbine, one M16 rifle with M203 grenade launcher, one hand grenade, assorted ammunition, and magazines.
The suspects and the recovered war materials are now in the custody of CIDG-Barmm for the appropriate filing of cases. (with reports from dpao 6id)
