By NITZ ARANCON Correspondent FORMER councilor President Elipe on Saturday said he and his sister Pristine Quizon have posted bailbonds amounting to P120 thousand in connection with the cases filed against them by acting city administrator Dionnie Gersana. The siblings were ordered arrested by Sandiganbayan Associate Justice Jose Hernandez for violation of Sec. 3(3) of RA 3019 and falsification under the Revised Penal Code. Over local radio, Elipe said he and his younger sister quickly flew to Manila to bail out after they learned that they have been ordered arrested. He said they were accompanied by his lawyer-wife Nadya, a city councilor. “Angkonon nako nga apiktado kita kay tawo ra gud ta,” he said. Elipe has denied that he and his sister violated laws when he was still serving as a member of the city council. Gersana has accused Elipe and his sister  of falsifying the latter’s daily time record so that she could get paid by city hall even at a time when she was abroad. Pristine, at that time, was serving as the then councilor’s staff member. Elipe has argued that no law was violated because Pristine’s DTR was signed, and because she was entitled to “flexi time.”
