A Cagayan de Oro City employee was arrested by authorities in a buy-bust operation at Villanueva, Misamis Oriental Sunday afternoon.
Police Major Dennis Galacio, Villanueva Police Station commander, identified the suspect as Gerald Emmerson Enerio, 40, married, and a resident of 15th-24th streets Nazareth, this city.
The suspect is currently connected to the City Social Welfare and Development of the same city.
He was arrested at Zone 3, Barangay Katipunan of the said municipality at around 3 pm.
Recovered from his possession was a big heat-sealed transparent cellophane containing suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P19,000 and some personal belongings.
The inventory was witnessed by Barangay Chair Julio Cabato of Katipunan and a media representative.
The suspect is now under Villanueva police for booking and filing of appropriate charges.
