The former mayor of Iligan City, now the administrator and chief executive officer CEO of the Philippine Veterans Investment Development Corporation (Phivedec) Industrial Estate located in the province of Misamis Oriental has been seeking for help to find his wife.

Quijano’s wife has yet to return to their residence in Iligan City as she was reported missing since missing last month.

In a phone interview yesterday, Quijano said he is worried his wife might never come back.

“I’m so much worried about my missing wife. She has not been found ‘til today [July 29],” Quijano said.

In his Facebook page, Quijano posted “Titatit and I got married on July 28, 1990.”

Quijano reiterated his call for help in locating his wife in the same Facebook post.

“From the bottom of my heart and the whole family, we seek your help, support and cooperation to find Titatit. We are very grateful and appreciative all your prayers, help, support, assistance, and every effort in trying to find Titatit in the past 33 days,” he said.

Quijano said his wife had bouts of anxieties brought about by her menopausal pangs. She has had hot flashes as well as other pains and symptoms that usually accompany menopause, he added.

“I and the whole family, clan, circle of friends and communities feel so much pain since she went missing,” he said.

Earlier this month, M/Sgt. Gerard Mijares of Iligan City Police Station 1 said initial investigation showed that Quijano’s wife  left her cellphone at their residence and brought some clothes indicating that the wife may have intentionally ran away.
