Iligan City — The diver who went missing after diving for a submerged iron chain was already found.

Barangay chair of Acmac, this city, Juvelyn Claveria yesterday said the body of diver Dennis Esconde was found past 2:00 in the afternoon of Wednesday still in the waters of Acmac with an oxygen tank over his back. Claveria said that this was with the help of a foreign diver from GnPower.

GnPower, to note, is a coal-fired power plant at Kauswagan, this city. To recall, the incident happened Tuesday morning when the victim dived for a submerged iron chain at around past 11:00 am.

Esconde, was an expert diver, the barangay chair added. Claveria and several residents had waited for the results including the father, Rogelio. Esconde was 32 years and single, it was learned. He was a resident of Purok Rosas of said barangay.
