A 19-year-old teenager from Zone 3 Sta. Ana, Tagoloan town was found hanging from the ceiling of their comfort room with a rope tied around her neck yesterday, January 14.
The teen was rushed to the Polymedic hospital in Tagoloan but was later referred to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) where shw died earlier this afternoon January 15.
According to the Tagoloan Police Station, they could not determine the cause of the suicide if it’s due to family or relationship issues because the family has not filed any reports regarding the incident.
As of this writing the parents of the victim has yet to report to the police since yesterday.
Meanwhile, close friends of the victim disclosed the teen dropped out on three of her subjects in a local college in Tagoloan.
This paper also found out that the victim has been contemplating to commit suicide days before the incident. Screenshots of the victim’s past-shared posts were shared on social media leaning towards family issues that brought about her committing suicide.
The victim was supposed to turn 20 this March. (Edited by Dave Achondo)
