Cañosa said the cctv Ordinance requires all business establishments in the city, including banks, moneychangers, pawnshops, hotels, eateries, and groceries to install CCTV devices.

It also applies on public markets, both private and public schools and even in the barangays in the city he said.

“In maintaining our peace and order situation and public safety, the cctv Ordinance is very useful,” said Cañosa.

Aside from the strict implementation of the ordinance, Cañosa has also called the attention of all business establishments in the city to put their own security alarm system.

Cañosa also strengthened the Civilian Volunteer Organization to help the undermanned police force in the city.
