THE Cagayan de Oro City Council headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy will hold a special session tomorrow at 2:30 pm with the local Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), health authorities and barangay chairmen of the city’s 80 barangays.
Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya said this is to present the entire picture and discuss the enforcement of policies about the status of the city.
He said DOH-10 regional director Adriano Suba-an confirmed there was already local transmission of Covid-19 in the city and submitted his recommendations to the city government, which includes strict implementation of laws, monitoring, among others.
“The IATF will explain to barangay chairs why the city is still on General Community Quarantine,” Nacaya added. (SP)
