During the media launch held earlier today via Zoom, Vice said “Pasayahin ang madlang people at mag bigay ng good vibes, yun lang lagi maging compass ko at gauge nang lahat ng gagawin kong decision, will this make the people happy? yun talaga ang major objective.“
Amidst the ongoing issues with ABS-CBN’s franchise, and the uncertainty of the pandemic (Covid-19), Vice Ganda said he would try his best to provide his audience and fans that have been affected by the times with a free and fun venue online where they can laugh, and have a good time.
He also shared that he did not only create the network for his fans, but for his friends in the industry who lost their jobs during the pandemic and the franchise debacle by providing them opportunities to continue their passion of entertaining people.
“This would also provide work, first objective is to make my audience happy, second ang naisip kong bigyan ng work mga kaibigan ko sa industriya na nawalan nang trabaho dahil nag close na mga comedy bars. So naisip ko bibigyan ko sila nang platform, at dagdag income para sa kanila,” Vice said.
The people who would also benefit from this project would also include writers and staff that Vice Ganda has worked with that lost their jobs due to the denial of ABS-CBN’s franchise.
“Open itong programang ito para makasama ko sila ulit, kasi sa bilis nang pangyayari parang ang tagal naulit yung naunang Ganda Gabi Vice, parang fresh ulit. Lahat sila masarap makasama ulit para makapag pasaya kami nang audience,” an emotional Vice Ganda said.
“Aside sa Viva, gusto ko magpasalamat sa bumubuo nang team ko, sa lahat ng katrabaho ko rito, mga online producers sila ate olive at kris, mga writers and sa creative team ko. Ang ABS-CBN maraming-maraming salamat sa support naibibigay nila sakin, kasi bago kopa to ginawa humingi ako ng basbas sa management ko sa ABS-CBN. Madami sila eh… hindi lang naman ako ang gumagawa nito pati rin sila kaya maraming-maraming salamat sa inyo,” he concluded.
