DURING the resumption of the House session this week, Deputy Speaker and Cagayan de Oro 2nd District Rep. Rufus Rodriguez pushed for the approval of several House Bills he authored.

Rodriguez thanked his colleagues in the House of Representatives for the support and approval of the measures. The bills approved by the House will undergo another round of deliberations in the Senate before President Rodrigo Duterte signs them into law.

Earlier this month, HB No. 9522 which seeks to establish College of Medicine at the University of Science and Technology of Southern Philippines (USTP) and HB No. 9459 that aims to increase the social pension of indigent senior citizens, both authored by Rodriguez, were approved by the House of Representatives.
