A 27-YEAR-OLD laborer is now languishing in jail after he was arrested by the police yesterday in connection with an attempted homicide case filed against him.
Police Col. Jun Mark Lagare, Bukidnon Police Provincial Director, identified the suspect as Leo Caibigan, single, and a resident of Purok1, Sitio Lapinigan, Barangay Pongol, Libona of the said province.
He was arrested by personnel of Libona Municipal Police Station, together with Bukidnon Police Intelligence Unit and 1st Bukidnon Police Mobile Force Company at 11:15 am at Purok 1, Barangay Poblacion, Libona of the same province.
Judge Mariflo Agreda of the 2nd Municipal Circuit Trial Court, Manolo Fortich, Libona, who issued the warrant of arrest, recommended the suspect P36,000 for his temporary liberty. The suspect is now in the custody of Libona police for proper disposition.
