In his statement, Daabay said that the tree-planting activity would begin with a motorcade.

Daabay said that during the motorcade, all participating vehicles will have a tarp bearing the logo of the umbrella tree and the club or group’s logo.

After the motorcade, he said there will be a short program with speeches from the club president or governor and any guests.

The program will be followed by the tree-planting proper, with all participants being requested to sign a manifesto of support on a tarp that will be distributed at the venue.

To cap off the activity, a boodle fight will be held, followed by adjournment and a fellowship, according to Daabay.

Daabay also noted that all participants will be required to sign an attendance sheet to receive certificates of recognition.

For inquiries, interested individuals may reach out to the club’s official FB accounts and contact numbers.

“We hope that this activity will raise awareness about the importance of preserving our environment and inspire more people to take action towards promoting sustainability,” said Daabay.
