A 20-year-old suspected drug pusher is now in jail after he was arrested in a buy-bust operation, last Saturday.
Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Director Col. Gonzalo Villamor, Jr., identified the suspect as Jayson Sabornido, single, and a resident of Zone 3, Barangay Taboc, Opol of the said province.
The suspect was arrested at Zone 7, Barangay Barra by the operating team assigned at Misamis Oriental Provincial Office.
Confiscated from Sabornido were one piece large heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with an estimated street value of P34,500, and a P500 bill buy-bust money.
The suspect is now detained at the Opol Municipal Police Station mini-cell for booking and proper disposition.
