MISAMIS ORIENTAL– Three young men died and one was injured in a road mishap that occurred at about 3:40 early in the morning on July 26 at National Highway in Barangay Mandahilag, Talisayan, Misamis Oriental.
Talisayan Police Investigator PO3 Eric Nerio S. Baja identified the fatalities as Balen J. Visto 23 year old single , Rene Najeal 17 year old, single and Ernie Rama 27 years old and 1 survivor identified as Jermie Najeal 25 year old single. All victims were residents of Sitio Maanyag Barangay Tup in Medina of this province .
The victims were said came from a disco party in Barangay Punta Santiago and were riding a motorcycle and accidentally bumped the asphalt paver parked at the shoulder on the ongoing road repair portion of the said highway.
According to witnesses the motorcycle was driven by Balen Visto with 3 back riders travelling on high speed when it bumped the asphalting equipment.
The said victim were about to go home to their respective residents when the incident happened.
