GINGOOG City–Some P15 million worth of  brand new hospital equipment were turned over by Misamis Oriental Gov. Yevgeny Vincente Emano to four provincial hospitals in simple ceremonies here on Friday.

The provincial hospital in this city received P5.1 million worth of equipment that include a cautery machine, incubator, a patient monitor, infusion pump, serological centrifuge, oxygen concentrator, operating microscope and hospitals beds with mattresses.

The Talisayan Provincial Hospital received P2.9 million of equipment that include a blood bank refrigerator, serological centrifuge, hematocrit centrifuge, ECG machine, infusion pump and beds with mattresses.

“We are making true to our promise to make our provincial hospitals responsive to the needs of their respective constituents,” Emano said.

The Balingasag Provincial Hospital received P3.6 million of equipment. These include an anaesthesia machine, patient monitor, serological centrifuge, oxygen concentrator, infusion pump and beds with mattresses.

For the first since its operation, the Magsaysay Provincial Hospital received a brand new xay machine, blood bank refrigerator, and ECG machine. Along with the P3.7 million equipment are serological centrifuge, beds with mattresses and a Doppler sunray.

“From now on, our folks as far as Magsaysay do not have to travel very far to have a simple xay procedure or an ECG taken,” Emano said.

He assured that personnel are properly trained to operate these new hospital equipment, and would have supplies.

On hand to accept the new hospital equipment were hospital chiefs Dr. Joel Babanto of  Gingoog, Dr. Ferdinand Bunawan of Magsaysay, and local officials of respective towns.

Emano was accompanied by provincial health officer Dr. Bebiana Casino, his candidates for the provincial board Jerry Khu, Pinting Motoomul, and Max Paderanga, and congressional candidate Dr. Rey Moreno. ADVT
