BUTUAN City — Some 200 grams of illegal drugs shabu estimated to be worth P2 million were seized by joint police operations in a drug raid late afternoon Saturday in a house, which is allegedly serves also as a drug den in Purok 7, Barangay Limaha, Butuan City.
Butuan City Police Director Senior Supt. Francisco Dungo identified couple suspects arrested in the drug raid as Nasrodin Mohamad, 42, alias “Nash,” and his wife Hanadheng Mohamad, 35.
Dungo claimed joint operatives from the Butuan City Police Office headed by Chief Inspector Rowena Martinez and the Regional Intelligence Division of the Police Regional Office-13 swooped down into the house rented by the couple and there, some 200 grams of shabu, illegal drugs paraphernalia and cash money of P26 thousand were confiscated.
Dungo said the police operatives were armed by search warrant issued by RTC Judge Godofredo Abul, Jr. Presiding Judge of the Regional Trial Court Butuan City Branch 4 of the 10th Judicial Region.
Dungo said Nasrodin Mohamad, 42, alias “Nash” is in the Number 8 in illegal drugs list of the Philippine National Police here in Caraga Region.
