RELATIVES of the teenager brutally killed at Hotel Sogo in Lapasan last month would attempt to see with President Duterte at Camp Evangelista today so they could personally ask him to help them get justice.
The murder victim’s mother Rosalinda Loyola said she would lead a group and try to catch Duterte’s attention by raising placards so he would order the police to speed up their work and bring the suspect to justice.
Loyola said they would also try to bring to Duterte’s attention the rape complaint the victim filed against Pagatpat barangay chairman Achilles Babaran.
Loyola said she was convinced that the rape complaint and her daughter’s murder were related.
“Dugay na kaayo, apan wala pa gayud padakpi sa mga police ang suspect nga nagpatay sa akong anak,” she said.
Loyola claimed a court has issued an arrest warrant against Babaran but the police have yet to serve it. (nitz arancon)
