Balingasag, Misamis Oriental — A wanted person for being involved in the illegal drugs trade was arrested by the police authority during a manhunt operation conducted by local police at Barangay Mandangwa, here Friday.
Senior Insp. Arnold Gaabucayan, local chief of police, identified the wanted person as a certain Free-demer Salvania, 35, maried, and a resident of Sitio Camaman-an, Mambayaan, this town.
The suspect was allegedly violating Republic Act 9165 known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002, for alleged selling shabu said Gaabucayan.
The suspect is tagged as among the top 10 most wanted person in this town as alleged drug pusher added Gaabucayan.
Gaabucayan said the suspect escaped from the arresting officers during police raid which occured at the suspect’s residence six months ago
During the police raid the authorities found one home made authomatic shot gun and shabu parapernalia.
“Tungod sa tabang sa kumunidad sa maong barangay amo ra gayod siya nasikop human sa pipila ka bulan pagtagotago,” Gaabucayan said.
The suspect was arrested through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Vincent F.B. Rosales of Branch 24 Regional Trial Court of Cagayan de Oro City.
