Gingoog City — A high-value drug suspect was arrested at his residence here by the coordinated efforts of the Gingoog City Police and the 1st Provincial Public Safety Batallion based in the city.
Supt. Roel Lami-ing, Gingoog chief of police, identified the suspect as a certain Ebenezer LapuLapu Laluna, also known as “Bistang,” 39, married, and a resident of Purok 3, Barangay 18-A, this city.
Police said Laluna is no. 20 on their illegal drugs watchlist. Laluna was arrested by way of a buy-bust operation, Lami-ing said.
“The police seized suspected shabu and shabu pharapernalia from the suspect’s possession during the operation,” said Lami-ing.
PO3 Leo Pontillas, Jr said they also confiscated an improvised hand gun and one live shotgun ammunition from Laluna.
