THE Cagayan Electric Power and Light Co. (Cepalco) has announced another round of blackouts tomorrow.
Cepalco said this is to facilitate a line tapping work of a 69-kv Natumulan line at the Tablon switchyard and a 34.5-kv line reconfiguration at Corrales extension.
The blackout would run from 6 am to 6 pm (12 hours) affecting some parts of Tablon, Cugman, Lapasan, Puntod and CM Recto Avenue.
There would be a load transferring from 6 am to 7 am (one hour), and again at 6 pm to 6:30 pm (30 minutes) in Barangay Macasandig, Nazareth, and some parts of the city proper.
Meanwhile, in Iponan, Bulua, Consolacion, Macabalan, Kauswagan, Balulang, and Lumbia would have three hours of blackout from 6 am to 9 am, and again at 3 pm to 6 pm.
