Governor Bambi Emano recently urged groups in the agriculture sector in Misamis Oriental to help the Provincial Government in its quest for self-sufficiency in food in the coming years while he is still the governor.
Emano said he is open to proposals from these organizations to achieve one of his administration’s goals—self-sufficient in food.
“The provincial government wants to work with you. If you think that you will love agriculture, now is the time (to suggest). If you want agriculture work in the province, now is the time,” Emano told crowd of farmers, agriculture sector leaders and city and municipal agriculturists during a quarterly meeting in Cagayan de Oro.
Emano, an agriculturist, said he understands the plight of the farmers. (pio misor)
