Camp Alagar spokesman Supt. Lemuel Gonda said Salic’s houses at Phase 1, Butong St., and Phase 4 Golden Rod St., Xavier Estates were searched based on a warrant issued by Regional Executive Judge Dennis Alcantar.

One of the houses, according to Gonda, yielded 10 sacks of suspected shabu (weighing approximately 15 kilos each), three cellophanes with suspected shabu residue, explosives and ammunition,  an M16  rifle,  a holster,  gunboxes,  , and Toyota Fortuner with lisence plates KDU-845.

Salic was arrested in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental on Wednesday night based on a warrant issued by Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana for rebellion, an accusation the ex-mayor strongly denied.

According to Gonda, Salic would be charged for illegal possession of drugs, illegal possession of firearms, and iIlegal possession of explosive devices on top of a rebellion case.

Gonda said the pieces of evidence were now with the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) that has been keeping Salic in detention.

The raids were carried out by a team composed of members of the Martial Law Special Action Group, CIDG, Cagayan de Oro City Police Office, and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
