Tacurong City — Elements of Sultan Kudarat, Criminal Investigation and Detection Group along with this city’s police force launched an operation, in compliance with the Search warrant from Honorable RTC-Branch 16 Judge Alandrex Betoya, against Robert Panes at Barangay New Carmen, Tacurong City, Sultan Kudarat at around past 8 am, yesterday.
Panes was able to elude arrest but authorities raided his residence.
Chief Insp. Modesto Carrera, CIDG-Sultan Kudarat head seized three AK-47 rifles, magazines loaded with 78 rounds of ammunition, one Berreta 9mm pistol with seven magazines with 184 rounds of live bullets, six calibre .38 revolvers with 54 rounds of ammunition, one long magazine for M-16 armalite rifle containing four live ammunition, 10 clips with complete ammuniton for Garand rifle.
Carrera had further stressed that a case in relation to what was provided for in RA 10591 will be filed against Panes on regular filing in court.
