Puerto police chief Ian Borinaga said Nora, a “tokhang” responder, was the subject of a search warrant issued by a court.

Chief Insp. Borinaga said authorities seized 18 sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated worth of P78 thousand, P222,800 in cash, drug paraphernalia and three cellular phones.

Borinaga alleged that some of the suspected illegal drugs were found in the bed room of Rita and her partner. He said police suspected that the duo were selling illegal drugs.

“Ang chief of police sa Libona, Bukidnon nakasulti sa ako nga naay ilang  nadakpan ug nisulti nga si Nora ang iyang source sa illegal drugs,” Borinaga said.

The suspects were charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, possession of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia. (a.l. ricalde)
