Senior Insp. Ian Mark Quita, Taguibo police chief, identified the man as Allan Padilla Jacob, 51, of Barinaut, San Roque. The incident happened at around 11:45 am the other day.

Police have yet to conclude its investigation although suicide is not being ruled out.

Initial police investigation showed that Jacob went to the Maria Cristina Gardens at Santa Felomina to visit a grave, and then returned to his vehicle, a dark gray Fortuner with license plates ACU-67491.

Inside the car, the police said, a shot was heard and concerned residents reported it.

Jacob was found by the police inside the vehicle–a caliber .45 pistol bullet pierced from his left cheek to the right part of the head.

The businessman was rushed to the Adventist Medical Center where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
