The COWD has a yearly fund allocation of P6 million for water supply projects in the city.

Legislators  noted that the COWD has already evaluated the existing water supply system and came up with the needed program of works and detailed estimates for the cost of the project.

The agreement was reviewed and endorsed by the committees on public utilities and on laws and rules chaired by councilors Teodulfo Lao and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively.

Lao said the matter should be acted upon since it involves the basic need of the residents for water. (clo)
