ILIGAN City — Police operatives has arrested a suspect wanted for rape since June 26, 2009.
The police report identified the suspect as one Antonio Ebarte a.k.a Jingjing, 40, and a resident of Villaverde, this city.
According to the report the suspect was arrested by a tracker team of Iligan City Police Station 4 led by P03 Rodrigo Suico, Jr. based on a warrant of arrest issued on June 26, 2009 by Hon. Amisha Umpa, Presiding Judge of Regional Trial Court of Lanao del Norte, 1st Judicial Region, Branch 2.
At large for quite a long time, the accused was listed as No 5 most wanted person at Police Station level, the report reads.
With no bail bond recommended for his temporary liberty, the accused is currently detained at the police station while his commitment order to the city jail is being processed, the report reads.
