THE Cagayan de Oro City Council has unanimously agreed to take a three-week recess starting next week.
Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy said majority of the councilors have reached a consensus during their regular session this week.
He said the recess will give the councilors time to observe Holy Week which starts on Monday.
The three-week recess, Uy said, also include all committee meetings and hearings.
Uy added that they also declared session recess on April 2 and April 9 (Araw ng Kagitingan).
He said the city council’s regular session will resume on April 16.
