Emergency front-line responders take part in a simulation exercise in Villanueva, Misamis Oriental. The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council of Villanueva, the Philippine National Red Cross, the Bureau of Fire Protection and energy-firm Steag State Power Inc. (SPI) joined forces in bolstering the disasteresponse preparedness of community-based local emergency front-line responders. About 70 community-based firstesponders attended a one-day firefighting and rescue training and simulation exercises.
