BARANGAY 7 can now implement its ecological solid waste management ordinance.
This, after the City Council during its regular session on Monday adopted a resolution returning to the Barangay Council its ordinance, noting that it is in order and may be given force and effect.
The barangay ordinance requires the mandatory segregation of wastes at source and prohibits the bringing out and dumping o garbage outside the collection day and proper time of dumping for collection. It also prohibits the indiscriminate dumping of garbage, littering, throwing, and dumping of solid wastes in public places. (cli)
