TAGOLOAN, Lanao del Norte — Former Marawi siege hostage Fr. Teresito “Chito” Soganub vowed to continue his advocacy of peace between Christians and Muslims by way of leading the campaign for the Basic Organic Law.

Suganob vowed to campaign in the upcoming plebicite.

“I am confident that yes we will win in the coming plebicite since the main proponent is the Moro Islamic Liberation Front.

He pointed out that there is also another big group campaigning for the BOL which is the Moro National Liberation Front. However, he added, it is natural if there would be an opposition.

The provincial government of Lanao del Norte is against the inclusion of the six municiplities to be included in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region. This include Munai, Nunungan, Tangkal, Pantar, Tagoloan, and Balo-i.

The military of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade of the Philippine Army confirmed that Azadullah Macapaar alias Kumander Bravo have relocated in sittio Kura-kura of Barangay Tamparan in Munai town on July 27 with his armed followers and developing his farmland for livelihood for his constituents MILF community.
