Ladelle Sagrado, COWD spokesperson, said the pipeline interconnection would affect areas from the Iponan Bridge up to Luyong Bonbon in Opol town.

Also to be affected are water consumers in Barra in Opol, Regency Plains Subdivision, the Iponan proper, Vamenta subdivision, Bloomingdale subdivison, and Westfield subdivision.

Sagrado said low water pressure to complete supply disruption would be experienced from 9 am to 5 pm in these areas as a result of the interconnection at City Mall in Iponan.

“COWD is advising all concessionaires in the said area to store enough water for their consumption during the interruption period. Please be assured all efforts will be taken to restore normal water supply the soonest possible time,” reads part of a COWD advisory.
