THE administration Partido Demokratikong Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) yesterday announced that Mayor Oscar Moreno would serve as its sole authorized signatory on election matters in the city.
The administration party also named as authorized signatories Misamis Oriental Rep. Peter Unabia and Justice Undersecretary Sergio Yap II as the party’s signatories for the 1st and 2nd districts of the province.
Yap hails from Tagoloan town, Misamis Oriental.
Welly Cuenca, a member of the PDP-Laban board in Region 10, said Yap was also named as the new PDP-Laban secretary general for Mindanao.
Cuenca said PDP-Laban officials in northern Mindanao are scheduled to meet in the city on Saturday ahead of the filing of certificates of candidacy.
The PDP-Laban’s regional board is composed of Misamis Occidental provincial board member Roy Yap, president; Dr. Manuel Jaudian, vice president; Gusa barangay chairman Marlo Tabac, secretary general; Tata Abejuela, auditor; and Cuenca, treasurer.
