A LATE morning fire broke out and razed to the ground at least P1.2 million worth of properties at Tiano-Yacapin Sts. here yesterday.
RMN’s radio station DxCC reported that the house of former Barangay 14 councilor Nilo Flores in Barangay 11 burned down at about 10:40 am.
It was learned that Flores had rented the second floor to one Albert Balani. The first floor was a a printing shop and a store.
According to Bureau of Fire Protection investigators, the fire may have been due to an unattended cellphone that was being charged at the second floor.
