FOR the nth time, a suspected drug peddler ended up dead during an entrapment after he allegedly fought back with a caliber .38 revolver in Opol, Misamis Oriental on Tuesday night.
Police identified the slain suspect as 21-year-old Arnold Salarda of Zone 7, Barangay Bulua, this city.
Salarda was shot dead after he drew a caliber .38 revolver and fired shots at an officer when he that he was dealing with an undercover cop at Vamenta Subdivision, Barra, Opol, at 9:15 pm on Tuesday, said Senior Insp. Arlyne Ranario, spokesperson of the Misamis Oriental police.
Ranario said police found seven sachets of suspected shabu and P500.
A second suspect, she said, escaped.
