Cagayan de Oro City Field Office of the Department of Labor and Employment released the salary of the 25 Tulong Panghanap-buhay Para sa mga Disadvantaged Workers (Tupad) beneficiaries from Laguin-dingan town, Misamis Oriental.

Each beneficiary went through a 10-day emergency employment by conducting social community projects like cleaning and de-clogging canals in various parts of the municipality for a daily earning based on statutory minimum wage stipulated in the contract.

Tupad Program is a program of the Department under its Dole Integrated Livelihood and Emergency Employment Program (Dileep), where internally displaced and disadvantaged workers are given short-term employment of not less than 10 days but not more than 30 days.

Beneficiaries of this program are also paid with a minimum wage of the region and are enrolled with accidental insurance under the GSIS. (dole cdo)
