Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon — Manolo Fortich celebrated its 102nd Charter Day and the Banog Banog Festival from March 15 to April 4.

Participants of Manolo Fortich headed by Mayor Clive Quiño together Vice Mayor Miguel D. Demata, and members of the Sangguniang Bayan.

The highlights of the festivity were Banog Banog Festival and street dancing competition. Seven barangays participated the competition, Barangays Agusan Canyon, Damilag, Alae, Lunocan, San Miguel, Dicklum, and Tankulan.

The winner of street dancing competition came from Barangay Alae led by Barangay Chairman Rameras and was awarded during closing ceremony of the 102nd charter celebration with a flag hoisting and a parade.

The culminating program was held early morning of April 4 and outstanding citizen, aktibong barangay, larong lahi, globe night and fireworks display at 10:56 pm. A disco in the municipal plaza capped the festivity.
