“This is a reminder to both the internal and external stakeholders to get involved in this yearly activity,” said Juliet Timbang, Chief Education Program Superintendent for School Governance an Operations Division.

This is to prepare the schools for the beginning of classes, she added. The week-long activity will be participated in by both the public sector which would include the local government unit and the private sector.

“Any help as to resources, time, manpower or maybe money would be  appreciated  as this entails  not only the involvement of one agency only, she added further. This is in accordance with DepEd Memorandum Circular no. 36,” she said.

Present during said kick off ceremonies were Councilors Noli Pardillo, chair of the Committee on Education and Sol Bacsarpa.

The “Balik Eskwela 2019” will end this Saturday while classes would begin on Monday next week.
