Gingoog City — The Kapa Community Ministry Gingoog City branch has closed down, Maj. Jolito Caseres, deputy chief of police confirmed on Thursday.
However, Caseres added that they have no idea why the Kapa office in this city has closed down.
Caseres theorized that President Rodrigo Duterte’s recent verbal order may have pushed Kapa’s staff here in the city to close down.
“Maybe because of some raids against Kapa in other areas in Mindanao,” Caseres added.
Duterte has ordering the Philippine National Police and the Nation Bureau of Investigation the closure of Kapa Community Ministry and other investment scams nationwide.
In this city there are about 20,000 Kapa members including some coming from other towns in Misamis Oriental and in Bukidnon.
Caseres did not confirm the figure but said “ubay ubay na gyud nag pa miyembro.”
