THE National Police’s Anti-Cybercrime Group on Saturday said it has asked a pornography-streaming website to remove from its server self-made sex videos of two teenage students here.

ACG investigator S/Sgt. Ritchel Tesoro said authorities sent the request to Pornhub and expect the videos to be taken down anytime soon.

But as of this writing, Pornhub has yet to reply to the police’s request.

Tesoro said they reached out to Pornhub after the father of a 17-year-old senior high school student sought the ACG’s help on Thusday afternoon.

She said the student’s father has also lodged a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation.

“The NBI-10 has asked for our technical assistance to have the videos deleted from the website,” Tesoro said in a phone interview, adding that it was the NBI that has started the investigation.

She said the investigation could start with the female student’s 16-year-old boyfriend, who was allegedly responsible for taking the videos and for uploading them online.

The teenagers are believed to be senior high school students at Xavier University. In one of the video clips, the female is seen wearing an XU uniform with a school pin.

Tesoro said the videos were apparently recorded recently.

She said that whoever recorded and uploaded the videos is facing a string of cases, including violation of laws on video voyeurism, child pornography and violence against women.

Tesoro said even those who possess, share or cause the distribution of the videos could also be held liable.

In an advisory posted on Facebook, the ACG has warned the public not to spread the pornographic videos.

Citing Section 4 of the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009, ACG said it is unlawful to “publish offer, transmit, sell, distribute, broadcast, advertise, promote, export or import any form of child pornography” or to access or possess it.
