On lifting the Covid-19 lockdown
During the Asian flu in 1958 originating in China, the Hongkong flu in 1968, the Sars-Cov in 2002-2003 originating also in China, the H1N1 or popularly the swine flu originating in the US, the Philippines did not figure in the list of hardest hit countries, which perhaps explains why our previous governments never resorted to a lockdown.
