The 23rd national convention of trial judges is a two-day event and has bannered the theme: “Responding to the clarion call for positive change.”
Justice Secretary Vitaliano Aguirre II graced the opening of the convention yesterday at the Lux Hotel in Limketkai Center, this city.
In his keynote speech, Aguirre reiterated the importance of prioritizing illegal drug cases in their respective courts.
The league’s Secretary General Judge Marlon Jay Moneva told Gold Star Daily the two-day convention and seminar to refresh and enhance their member-judges in hearing cases in court.
Just like other things, Moneva added, the justice system evolves.
