Iligan City — The police here arrested an alleged drug pusher at a pension house in Dao, Hinaplanon, this city.
Station 3 at Dalipuga barangay under Senior Insp. Enrique Dungog identified the suspect as Rey Briones, 54, of Purok 8-C, barangay Santiago said to be a teacher and a band trainer of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology.
Authorities bought from him on Monday a sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000. Also, taken from his person were four sachets of suspected shabu with a street value of P2,500 and several drug paraphernalia.
Viewers on social media also saw his name and picture there with several commenting that he has a good job already, why woould he still involve in such activities. (Nora Soriño and Sita Asequia)
