As program coordinator for Miss BDO 2015 and as new generations committee chair of RC Kalayaan, I initiated this project to give the candidates an exposure towards community involvement, getting more socially concerned of their role as young professionals.
The fun games started before 11 a.m. and ended at around 12 noon just in time for the kids to have their sumptuous lunch in RC Kalayaan’s weekly feeding program. The food preparation was done by the parents of Malasag Elementary School, and the candidates happily assisted in the food distribution for the students.
The activity ended with the candidates inviting everybody to the most awaited coronation night on August 30, 2015 at Xavier University- Ateneo de Cagayan Grade School Pueblo. Justine Patricia Camat of BDO Velez was eventually crowned as Miss BDO 2015.
