COUNCILOR Suzette Magtajas-Daba, chair of the committee on education, together with City Mayor Oscar Moreno, attended a planning session with the AXUL Team at the City Mayor’s Office.
The AXUL Job Portal is a project for the blue collar workers, in partnership Syntactic Inc.
Daba said the purpose of the project is to address unemployment, enable effective job matching, and accelerate economic, social and educational opportunities and reduce poverty for blue collar workers.
The mechanism is that available jobs for workers will be posted online and in every barangay so that the applicants will know where to apply, Daba explained.
She said the project will be linked to the existing CDO TVI so that the scholars can work directly.
