THE city council’s committee on games and amusement, headed by Councilor Roger Abaday, is considering the approval of the request of the Canitoan-Pagatpat Cocker Association.
In a letter request, the group plans to hold a cockfight Sept. 26-27, this year at the Pagatpat Cockpit Arena.
Isagani Legaspi, the group’s president, said the event aims to raise funds for their community development program.
The group has assured the committee that they will pay for permits and hoped that the games body approves their request. (sp)
