A NUMBER of infrastructure projects and programs funded under the city’s general fund will be implemented next year.
This after the Committee of the Whole headed by Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin V. Uy during the deliberations presided over by Councilor Edna Dahino approved in principle the proposed budget of P1,877,016,122 for the purpose.
Out of the amount, P129,300,000 shall finance the concrete paving of the road shoulder with drainage along Gaabucayan St., road shoulder at J. Ramonal St., from E. Aguinaldo to Daumar St., road leading to Guadalupe Shrine, Balubal, Balubal Libona Indahag Road, concrete paving with drainage from Green Heights/Villa Verde towards SDR Balulang, among others.
Another allocation amounting to P70,280,000 is intended for the road opening and widening of road towards Pisffa Purok 6, Baikingon, livestock farm to Purok 7, Balubal, from SDR to Convention Center Passing Court of Appeals, from Agora to Osmena Extension crossing Bitan-ag Creek, Lapasan, among others.
