In the daily press briefing this morning, NMMC medical specialist Bernard Rocha said they have had no additional admissions in the last 24 hours.
“Isa na lang currently admitted sa atong ERID. Isa ka 11-month-old male from outside Cagayan de Oro,” Rocha said, adding that the patient has already been swabbed and awaiting the result any time today.
He also said the four-year-old male from Pagatpat, who was admitted due to community-acquired pneumonia and pulmonary tuberculosis, has tested negative for Covid-19.
“Ato na siyang gi transfer sa pulmonary ward,” said Rocha.
As for the active health surveillance in the city’s 80 barangays, Dr. Joselito Retuya reported that his team has already visited some 117,000 households.
“Ang uban ana nabalikan na. Nagkagamay na atong navalidate with active respiratory illness ug influenza-like illness. Miubos na atong percentage ― 14 percent,” said Retuya. (Cong B. Corrales)
